Your 10-day China tour begins in Shanghai before Zhangjiajie, Xi'an, and Beijing. Upon arrival, your guide greets you and transfers you by private car to your downtown hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure, resting after the flight or taking a short walk nearby before Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, The Bund, and Shanghai Tower sightseeing tomorrow.
Visit the Shanghai Museum for bronzes, jades, paintings, and sculpture collections. Continue to Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden more than 400 years old, and the nearby Yuyuan Market. Stroll the Former French Concession and The Bund, then finish at Shanghai Tower for Huangpu River views. An optional Shanghai acrobatic show may be arranged in the evening at additional cost.

Check out in the morning and drive about 1.5 hours to Xitang Ancient Town, a canal town with roots dating back many centuries. Take a boat ride on the canals and walk the waterside lanes. Afterward, transfer to Shanghai airport for your flight to Zhangjiajie. Your local guide meets you on arrival and takes you to the hotel for two nights before Wulingyuan sightseeing.

Spend a full day in Wulingyuan's sandstone peak landscape. Take the Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, then ride the scenic shuttle to Tianzi Mountain for views of pillar peaks and misty valleys. Visit highlights such as the First Bridge Under Heaven and Imperial Brush Peak as timing allows, descend by the Tianzi Mountain cableway, and finish with the Ten-Mile Gallery before overnight in Zhangjiajie.

Afterwards, cycle on the Xi'an City Wall, one of China's best-preserved and largest ancient city walls, along the wide brick ramparts. Return briefly to the hotel, then transfer to Xi'an North Railway Station for the high-speed train to Beijing. Your guide meets you and escorts you to the hotel for three nights.
