Day by Day Itinerary
Your private guide meets you at Beijing Airport on arrival and drives you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free. Rest and adjust to the time zone after your flight, take a short walk near the hotel, or try Beijing cuisine nearby. There is no fixed sightseeing schedule today, so you can settle in at your own pace before the guided days ahead.
In the morning, visit Tiananmen Square, then enter the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) for a guided walk through its halls and courtyards. After lunch, continue to Yonghegong Lama Temple, Beijing’s largest Tibetan Buddhist temple. In the evening, stroll Temple of Heaven Park, where Ming and Qing emperors once prayed for good harvests, then return to your hotel for the night.

In the morning, drive to Mutianyu Great Wall and use the included round-trip cable car to walk the ramparts and watchtowers among the mountain ridges. On the way back to the city, stop for photos at the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium). In the afternoon, ride a rickshaw through Beijing hutongs and visit a local siheyuan (courtyard house) family before returning to your hotel.

In the morning, visit the Giant Panda House at Beijing Zoo to see the pandas at close range. Continue to the Summer Palace, China’s largest surviving imperial garden, to walk lakeside corridors and palace halls. In the afternoon, according to your flight time, your guide and driver transfer you to the airport for your onward journey, ending this private 4-day Beijing tour.
