Day by Day Itinerary
In the early morning, your guide picks you up from your hotel for Tiananmen Square, then enters the Palace Museum (Forbidden City), a roughly 600-year-old imperial complex explored on foot. If the Palace Museum is closed on Monday, the visit changes to the Summer Palace. Afterward, drive about 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Enjoy a buffet lunch on arrival, then spend at least 2.5 hours on this Wall section, using the included cable car or open-air chairlift and toboggan options as listed. In the evening, join a complimentary tea ceremony at the foot of the Wall before returning to your hotel.
