Day by Day Itinerary
At 8:00 AM, your guide picks you up at your hotel to begin a one-day Beijing landmarks tour. The first stop is the Temple of Heaven; if it is closed on Monday, the visit changes to Beihai Park. Next, ride a traditional rickshaw through historic hutong alleys to see everyday neighborhood streets of old Beijing. You may choose a favorite local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Yonghegong Lama Temple for its Tibetan Buddhist temple halls and architecture. Later, continue to the Summer Palace, a major Qing Dynasty imperial garden with Kunming Lake, hills, and lakeside pavilions. In the evening, you are returned to your hotel.
