Day by Day Itinerary
In the early morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and head to Tiananmen Square early. With fewer visitors at this hour, you can leisurely photograph the iconic landmarks and stroll through the open space to soak in the morning light. You will then pass through Tiananmen Rostrum to enter the Palace Museum (Forbidden City), a 600-year-old imperial complex, and savor its exquisite architectural art in detail. Note: if the Palace Museum is closed on Mondays, the itinerary will be adjusted to visit the Summer Palace. After the tour, drive approximately 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Upon arrival, enjoy a hearty buffet lunch to replenish your energy, then spend at least 2.5 hours hiking and exploring this well-preserved section of the Great Wall. You may choose to take the cable car or open-air chairlift up and down the mountain based on your preference. In the evening, join a complimentary tea ceremony experience at the foot of the Great Wall. After sipping tea and calming your mind, return to your hotel.
