Day by Day Itinerary
At 8:00 AM, your guide will pick you up at your hotel to begin your journey exploring Beijing’s iconic landmarks. The first stop is the Temple of Heaven (if closed on Mondays, the visit will be changed to Beihai Park). You will then ride a traditional rickshaw through the historic hutong alleys to experience the daily life of old Beijing neighborhoods. You may choose a favorite local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Yonghegong Lama Temple to appreciate its magnificent architecture and profound religious heritage. Later in the afternoon, proceed to the Summer Palace, China’s most celebrated imperial garden, famous for its lakes, mountains, and exquisite pavilions. In the evening, you will be returned to your hotel to rest.

- - Public holidays: expect larger crowds and heavier traffic during Chinese public holidays such as May Day from May 1st to 5th and National Day from Oct 1st to 7th. We will do our best to arrange the tour.
- - Important note: Since the Temple of Heaven is closed on Mondays, this tour designer carefully choose the visit to the Beihai Park instead of Temple of Heaven if your travel date happens to meet Monday.
