Century Oasis

Yangtze River Cruise

About Century Oasis

Choose Century Oasis if you want one of Century Cruises’ newest five-star hulls on the Chongqing–Yichang Three Gorges run: electric propulsion (in service April 2023), about 650 guests on 7 decks, and six balcony cabin categories. East Marvel books the live cabin and deck — we do not sell brochure language as a cabin type.

Electric and quieter. Century Oasis uses electric propulsion and holds Green Ship and Smart Energy Efficiency certifications from the China Classification Society. On the river that usually means less engine vibration than older diesel hulls. Confirm the sailing, not a brochure claim.

Same family as Glory and Victory. She is the newer sister of Century Glory and Century Victory: all-balcony staterooms, Chinese-and-Western dining for meals marked B / L / D, and public rooms that typically include a sun deck, panorama café, fitness center, theater, spa, and bar. East Marvel matches your dates to live inventory. We do not staff the ship.

Cabins on this hull. Categories on the Century Oasis ship page are Deluxe Standard Cabin, Premier Deluxe Cabin, Family Themed Suite, Executive Suite, Oasis Suite, and Presidential Suite. Published Deluxe Standard fares start from USD $1,268 per room (Deck 2) — confirm your sailing.

Route. Chongqing → Yichang is 4 days / 3 nights. Yichang → Chongqing is 5 days / 4 nights. Arranged shore visits and Yangtze talks listed on that sailing are in the fare. Optional tours sold onboard are extra.

Suite privileges

  • The Deluxe Balcony fare covers your cabin, meals marked B / L / D, and the included shore visits on your itinerary.
  • Buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Globe Dining Room (Decks 2–3) on days marked B / L / D
  • Early morning tea or coffee, plus the ship’s morning stretch / Tai Chi
  • Captain’s Welcome and Captain’s Farewell dinner
  • Included shore visits (coach, local guide, and tickets, as printed on the itinerary)
  • Onboard commentary from the cruise’s river guide
  • Evening entertainment
  • Daily housekeeping, including turndown and a printed next-day itinerary
  • Decks & upgrades
  • Deluxe Balcony cabins on Century Oasis are 26 sqm with a 180-degree river-view balcony, on Decks 2, 3, 4, and 5. Every cabin in this category already has a private balcony — you are choosing height, not whether you get a view. The published fare is Deck 2 (lobby deck). Decks 3, 4, and 5 are paid upgrades.
  • Deck 2 — Standard fare (lobby deck)
  • This is the published Deluxe Balcony fare. Same private river-view balcony as every other cabin in this category — closest to the Globe Dining Room, lobby, reception, and the gangway.
  • Decks 3–5 — Paid upgrades
  • Same balcony cabin; you pay the published step for height, not a different room type.
  • Deck 3 — the first paid step. A little more height, still a short walk to dining and the lobby.
  • Decks 4–5 — quieter, a wider look at the gorges, and a shorter walk to the upper public rooms. The usual request if balcony time is why you booked.
  • Request the deck when you book
  • Write category plus deck on the Trip List — for example Deluxe Balcony Deck 5, twin or large bed. We send that request to the cruise line with your dates. Confirmation is what they return. Cabins are not assigned at random.
  • After check-in (not a booking plan)
  • Reception can move you only if a higher cabin is empty that night, and you pay the ship’s difference. Peak sailings are often full. If a higher deck is why you booked, lock it before you pay — do not book Deck 2 hoping to upgrade onboard.
  • Want more space
  • If you want a quieter dining room or a larger suite, ask us to quote a Premier Deluxe or an Executive Suite for your dates. Those privileges are confirmed on the sailing, not assumed from the cabin name.

Deck Plans

Century Oasis Deck 1·Bottom Deck plan

Deck Highlight: On Century Oasis, “upper” vs “lower” is mainly a price-and-view choice, not a different cabin type. Deluxe Standard balcony cabins sit on Decks 2, 3, and 4. Premier Deluxe is the same 26 sqm balcony cabin on Decks 5 and 6. Every one of those cabins has a private river-view balcony. East Marvel books the deck you ask for when that inventory is open — we do not assign cabins at random. Deck 2 USD $1,268 · Deck 3 $1,368 · Deck 4 $1,468 (Deluxe Standard balcony, 26 sqm, per room, as published — confirm your sailing). Premier Deluxe starts from USD $1,468 on Decks 5–6. Upper decks (Deck 4, Premier Deluxe on 5–6, and suites): wider Three Gorges panorama from the same balcony cabin; shorter walk to the sun deck, panorama café, fitness center, theater, spa, and bar. You pay the published step from Deck 2 to Deck 4, or you book Premier Deluxe. Lower decks (Deck 2–3): lowest published Deluxe Standard fare, same balcony type; closer to dining, lobby, reception, and the gangway. If walking distance matters, say so on the Trip List. If you are motion-sensitive, ask for midship on Deck 2 or 3. Do not plan on upgrading at reception after check-in: it depends on empty cabins, it costs extra, and it often fails in peak months. Twin beds on this ship do not join into a double — ask for a large-bed hold when you book. Chongqing–Yichang is a river corridor, not an ocean crossing. Motion is mild for most guests.
