Ultra-quiet Sailing
Century Cruises uses electric propulsion on its luxury Yangtze vessels, reducing vibration and noise while supporting a smoother and more energy-efficient river-cruise experience.
Choose Century Victory if you want a large Glory-series Century hull on the Chongqing–Yichang Three Gorges run: electric propulsion (in service 2022), about 650 guests, 260 balcony cabins on 7 decks. She is the sister of Century Glory — same generation, similar size. She is not the newest ship on the Yangtze: Century Oasis (2023), Century Voyage (2024), and Yangzi Explorer (2025) launched later. East Marvel books the live cabin and deck — we do not sell brochure language as a cabin type.
Electric and quieter. Century Victory uses electric propulsion and is listed with eco-conscious and AI systems on this hull. On the river that usually means less engine vibration than older diesel ships. Confirm the sailing, not a brochure claim.
Size. The hull is 149.98 m long and 21.2 m wide, with 15,000 GT — one of the larger ships on this corridor, with Century Glory. It is not automatically the largest ship on the Yangtze.
Cabins on this hull. Categories on the Century Victory ship page are Deluxe Standard Cabin, Premier Deluxe Cabin, Family Themed Suite, Executive Suite, Victory Suite, and Presidential Suite. Deluxe Standard is 26 sqm with a river-view balcony on Decks 2, 3, and 4. Twin or large-bed setup — ask East Marvel for the large-bed hold when you book.
Dining and public rooms. Meals marked B / L / D are in the fare. Public space typically includes restaurants, bars and lounges, a large sun deck, gym, and other venues listed on that sailing. Optional tours, bar drinks beyond included meals, spa, laundry, and internet are extra unless your confirmation says otherwise.
Route. Chongqing → Yichang is 4 days / 3 nights. Yichang → Chongqing is 5 days / 4 nights. Arranged shore visits and Yangtze talks listed on that sailing are in the fare. Optional tours sold onboard are extra.

Deck Highlight: On Century Victory, “upper” vs “lower” is mainly a height-and-walk choice, not a different cabin type. Deluxe Standard balcony cabins sit on Decks 2, 3, and 4. Premier Deluxe is the same 26 sqm balcony cabin on higher decks. Every one of those cabins has a private river-view balcony. East Marvel books the deck you ask for when that inventory is open — we do not assign cabins at random. Upper decks (Deck 4, Premier Deluxe, and suites): wider Three Gorges panorama from the same balcony cabin; shorter walk to the sun deck, restaurants, bars, and other public rooms listed on that sailing. Lower decks (Deck 2–3): same balcony type; closer to dining, lobby, reception, and the gangway. If walking distance matters, say so on the Trip List. If you are motion-sensitive, ask for midship on Deck 2 or 3. Do not plan on upgrading at reception after check-in: it depends on empty cabins, it costs extra, and it often fails in peak months. Twin beds on this ship do not join into a double — ask for a large-bed hold when you book. Chongqing–Yichang is a river corridor, not an ocean crossing. Motion is mild for most guests.
