About Victoria Sabrina
Victoria Sabrina entered service on 18 May 2020. She is Victoria Cruises’ largest ship: about 17,000 GT, seven decks, roughly 286–292 cabins, and up to 690 guests. East Marvel books her on Chongqing–Yichang only — 4 days / 3 nights downstream, or 5 days / 4 nights upstream. She is the line’s resort-scale hull, not its newest: Victoria Isabella launched in 2025.
Power. Sabrina uses a DC-grid electric propulsion system, which typically means less vibration and engine noise than older diesel ships of this size. Indoor air is treated with a purification system listed on this hull. Confirm the sailing; do not read that as a river-wide “first green ship” claim.
Dining and public rooms. Meals marked B / L / D are in the main restaurant on Deck 2, with a wide river view. Deck 6 holds a smaller restaurant and the Executive Lounge. Onboard space also includes the Reel to Reel Theater, bars, a sun deck, gym, and (on this hull) a children’s play area, card room, and reading room.
Cabins. On this site you book Superior balcony cabins (from 25.5 sqm, Decks 2–5), Executive Suites, and Shangri-La Suites — all with a private river-view balcony. Operator sheets list further subtypes; we sell the live category on your dates.
Choose Sabrina if you want a large Victoria ship, more restaurants and public rooms, and a social onboard atmosphere. It is not a quiet all-suite ship. If you want Victoria’s newer hull and the Deck 5–6 escalator, compare Victoria Isabella. If you prefer fewer guests and suite-only cabins, compare Yangzi Explorer. Confirm deck, meal letters, and the shore list on your sailing before you pay.

- Deluxe Balcony cabins sit on Decks 2–5. Every cabin in this category already has a private river-view balcony — you are choosing height, not whether you get a view. The published fare is Deck 2 (lobby deck). Decks 3, 4, and 5 are paid upgrades.
- Deck 2 — Standard fare (lobby deck)
- This is the published Deluxe Balcony fare. Same private river-view balcony as every other cabin in this category — closest to the Dynasty Restaurant, lobby, reception, and the gangway.
- Decks 3–5 — Paid upgrades
- Same balcony cabin; you pay the published step for height, not a different room type.
- Deck 3 — the first paid step. A little more height, still a short walk to dining and the lobby.
- Decks 4–5 — quieter, a wider look at the gorges, and a shorter walk to the upper public rooms. The usual request if balcony time is why you booked.
- Request the deck when you book
- Write category plus deck on the Trip List — for example Deluxe Balcony Deck 5, twin or large bed. We send that request to the cruise line with your dates. Confirmation is what they return. Cabins are not assigned at random.
- After check-in (not a booking plan)
- Reception can move you only if a higher cabin is empty that night, and you pay the ship’s difference. Peak sailings are often full. If a higher deck is why you booked, lock it before you pay — do not book Deck 2 hoping to upgrade onboard.
- Want more space
- If you want a larger suite or a quieter dining room, ask us to quote an Executive Suite or a higher category for your dates. Those privileges are confirmed on the sailing, not assumed from the cabin name.
Deck Plans
Deck Highlight: Reel to Reel Theater, etc. On Victoria Sabrina, “upper” vs “lower” is mainly a price-and-view choice, not a different cabin type. Superior balcony cabins sit on Decks 2, 3, 4, and 5; the published fare rises with the deck. Every one of those cabins has a private river-view balcony. East Marvel books the deck you ask for when that inventory is open — we do not assign cabins at random. Upper decks (4–5, and suites) Wider Three Gorges panorama from the same balcony cabin. Shorter walk to sun deck / observation. Closer to spa, Reel to Reel Theater, and Yangtze Club. You pay the published step up — not a surprise at reception. Lower decks (2–3) Same balcony cabin at the entry fare. Closer to dining, lobby, reception, and the gangway. Four elevators serve every cabin deck. Motion-sensitive: ask for midship on Deck 2 or 3. Request the deck when you book Look at the deck plans, then write category plus deck on the Trip List (e.g. Superior Deck 5, twin or large bed). East Marvel sends that request to Victoria. Confirmation is what the company returns. After check-in Reception can move you only if a higher cabin is empty. Peak sailings are often full.
