About Yangtze 3
If a Yangtze legend needs time to settle, Yangtze 2 is where that heritage meets a modern way of traveling. This 12,000-GT ship carries only 190 cabins — space for 452 guests without the crush or the noise of a packed hull.
In early 2024 she was renewed from the inside out. Every cabin was recast, and the in-room amenities were upgraded for one plain purpose: better sleep. Family travel is treated as it should be — spacious family rooms were added so a river sailing can still feel like time together, not a squeeze.
Public rooms were rebuilt around how guests actually spend a day: a tea house, a book bar, a photography center, a cultural-creative corner, and an active kids’ play area. Coffee and a book on the sun deck, an hour with children in their own space, or a camera on the gorges — there is a quiet corner for each of those hours.
What many guests come for next: an indoor heated pool, still uncommon on the Yangtze. The water is about 110 square meters, held near 30°C through the year. Rain, wind, or high summer — you swim in still, private water, not on an open deck.
Yangtze 2 is more than a cruise ship. She is a residence that happens to move: refined, comfortable, and distinctly Eastern — a composed way to travel this river.
