4-Day Chongqing Classic Tour

Upon arrival at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport or Chongqing Railway Station, your tour guide and private driver meet you with a welcome sign and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free after the transfer, with no fixed sightseeing schedule. Rest after travel or take a short walk near the hotel to settle into Chongqing before tomorrow’s city day covering the zoo, Liziba, Ciqikou, and Hongyadong.

After breakfast, visit Chongqing Zoo, known in western China for giant panda breeding and display, with many other species such as red pandas, golden monkeys, giraffes, tigers, and elephants as listed on site. Continue to Liziba Light Rail Station to see the monorail running through the middle of a 19-story residential building. Visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, then Shancheng Alley, Eighteen Stairs, and Hongyadong as listed before returning to your hotel. Lunch is included as listed on the package meal plan.

After breakfast, travel to the Dazu Rock Carvings for visits at Baoding Mountain and North Mountain. This UNESCO World Heritage stone-carving complex, developed from the Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, includes large numbers of Buddhist, Confucian, and Taoist statues. Return to Chongqing later for Kuixing Building and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street as listed, then check back into your hotel. Lunch is included as listed on the package meal plan.
