Chongqing & Wulong: 5-Day In-Depth Tour

Arrive at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport or Chongqing Railway Station. Your private tour guide and driver meet you with a welcome sign and transfer you by private vehicle to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free after the transfer, with no fixed sightseeing schedule. Rest after travel or take a short walk near the hotel to settle into Chongqing before tomorrow’s city day covering the zoo, Liziba, Ciqikou, and Hongyadong. This arrival day begins your 5-day Chongqing and Wulong itinerary.

After breakfast, visit Chongqing Zoo, a well-known urban zoo in western China with giant pandas and more than 230 animal species such as red pandas, golden monkeys, tigers, giraffes, and elephants. Continue to Liziba Light Rail Station, where the monorail runs through a 19-story residential building in the Train Passing Through a Building scene. Visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, then continue to Shancheng Alley and Eighteen Stairs as listed. Finish at Hongyadong before returning to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast, travel to Wulong for Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, promoted locally as Eastern Switzerland, with alpine meadow, grassland, forest, and gentle hills suited to walking and photos. Continue to the Three Natural Bridges, made up of Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge over a long geological history, a karst site that has also been used as a filming location. Overnight at your listed Wulong hotel near Fairy Mountain after the sightseeing day.

After breakfast, visit Longshui Gorge Earth Crack, a narrow canyon formed by geological movement, with deep valleys, streams, waterfalls, and karst rock formations along the walking route. Continue to Furong Cave, listed among major karst caves in China and known as The King of Caves, with stalactites, stalagmites, and stone flowers. After the visits, drive back to Chongqing city, arriving at around 19:00, and check into your hotel for the night.
